A bubble-gum pop singer in the 1980s, Tiffany had several Top 40 hits. Now, she's turned to country music after a failed R&B album.

Her latest album, The Color of Silence, received rave reviews but due to distribution problems was not a success in the US. She has since signed to Jive Records and the album was a much greater success when released in Asia.
She was discovered singing country music at age 11 or 12 on a country music show by producer George W. Tobin, who became her manager.
In 1988 at the height of her career she unsuccessfully sued her mother for legal emancipation. The case was dismissed. Her consolation was that she got to move out of the house her mom and stepfather were living in. The whole scandel tarnished her image.
