Roxann Dawson was born on September 11, 1958 in Los Angeles, California to Richard and Rosalie Caballero. Later, she graduated from the University of California at Berkeley (Theater Arts major). Soon, she landed her first role as Diana Morales in the Broadway Production of "A Chorus Line". During her acting career she performed in numerous plays including "The Early Girl", "V&V Only", "The Tempest", "Tropicana", "Six Characters In Search Of An Author", "Accelerando", "Rose Tattoo", "Daughters" among others.She has also been on many TV shows and movies - including popular shows such as "Star Trek: Voyager", "Baywatch", "Matlock", "Jake and the Fatman", "The Untouchables", "Nightingales", "Any Day Now", "Seven Days", "Coupling", "Another World", "The Fortunate Pilgrim", "The Round Table" among others, but her television experience includes roles in a number of TV movies such as "Broken Angel", "Guilty by Suspicion", "Midnight's Child", "Dirty Work", "Mortal Sins", "Pointman", "Greyhounds", "Foto Novelas: Seeing Through Walls", "Jesus the Driver".Dawson works as a writer as well as director - She made her directorial debut on "Star Trek: Voyager" and continued directing on shows like "Any Day Now", "Enterprise" and "Charmed". She does also practice writing - a Triology called "Tenebrea" was co-written by her! She resides in LA with her husband Eric Dawson and their children.
