Scion of a legendary Indian acting family, Kareena Kapoor is the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor, one of the biggest stars of Bollywood's mid-20th-century heyday. Her parents, Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor, are also Bollywood stars, as is her sister Karisma Kapoor. Kareena's first performance, in Refugee, won her critical acclaim and led to a string of hits, including Yaadein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, and Asoka. |
