After Jeannie Bell, she was the second African-American Playboy "Playmate of the Month."
She was the third African-American Playmate of The Month, after Jennifer Jackson Miss March 1965 (the first), and Jeannie Bell Miss October 1969. Woodson is the only other Playmate besides Pamela Anderson to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine, in May 1977.
